Langley Crane Training Schools - Our various Mobile Crane Operation programs are meant for skilled operators who requires re-certification or certification, and for inexperienced individuals who are searching for their first job as an operator of a crane. Our Crane Training Schools feature training and instruction for a wide variety of mobile cranes. Course content includes Crane Set-up, Wire Rope, Load Dynamics, Lift Planning, Rigging, Signaling and Load Charts.
The program is most suitable for crane riggers, operators as well as their supervisors. The materials included in the course would include a guidebook and many useful handouts. The illustrated safety manual consists of one hundred to two hundred fifty pages, depending on the course, of essential and helpful material. Course materials comprise load exercises and load charts for the crane with which the person training is working.
Over half of the course involves Hands-On Safety Training. Practical training is effective for increasing and developing personnel skills levels. Only qualified journeyman crane instructors are chosen to teach the courses. Our instructors possess numerous years of practice in the business.
Optional testing mechanisms are provided for all of our courses. Students will usually write tests both before and after training. A skills test is usually administered for programs which consist of H.O.S.T. People training will be graded and tested.
We offer certified training programs for the following cranes: Lattice Boom/Crawler Cranes; Fixed and Swing Cab Mobile Hydraulic Cranes; Rigging / Signalperson Certification and Training; Articulated Boom / Knuckleboom Cranes; Testing & Certification; and In-The-Seat Training.
